I just have to say…
Now that I am listening to a lot more minimal techno mixes by American DJs, I just have to say: THERE IS TOO MUCH BASS. It is always “bass, bass, bass, CUT THE BASS, bass, bass, bass.” I much like better the CUT THE BASS part than anything else.
Adam Beyer, Dan Bell, Section 8, Derek May, Mike Dearborn, Derek Plaslaiko, and many more DJs I have come to know and love: I just have to say one thing: MORE HI-HAT, please.
This is the year of the hi-hat. Long live hi-hat!
